WHO ARE WE

We are the "FUNDACIÓN INTERNACIONAL

EDIFICANDO SOBRE LA ROCA " a non -profit entity of a social and material nature, created to improve the quality of the life of people with physical disabilities and low income.

MISSION :

To bring the hope of Christ's love to the disabled in Colombia. To be a resource for people with disabilities that will empower them - physically, mentally and spiritually – to be useful and valuable to society, grounded in ethical and moral values.To carry our VISION to Christian churches, organizations and individuals in Colombia and abroad, thereby joining efforts to IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE for low-income disabled in Colombia. In this way to fulfill our vision of building and sustaining a fully-equipped home in Bogota within a period of five years, and then continuing in other main cities of Colombia, and of providing an appropriate and safe transportation system.

VALUES:

The foundation’s values are founded on biblical principles and teachings left by our Lord Jesus Christ, "love Him above all things and love your neighbor as yourself " through love for and service to one another. We focus on the following values: LOVE, SERVICE , RESPECT, ACCEPTANCE, TOLERANCE, WHOLENESS , IDENTITY, AND HONOR.

THE REASON WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO:

All you do for a person in need, will be of great value to our Creator, who has given us everything we have.

WHO ARE OUR DISABLED:

They are low-income people who sell candy, trash bags, and other items on the street and at traffic lights. Others, unable to do anything else, just ask for money.

ADULTS. These people are between 20-70 years old, and have a lot of potential, having great mental capacity but are physically challenged only.

They live in poor neighborhoods of the city, in areas like Ciudad Bolivar, San Francisco, Tunal and others, in very difficult conditions and with many economic constraints.
